We believe that every human being innately wants to be happy and that you decided to work in the school system because you want to inspire and help children become the best versions of themselves. Whether you are an assistant, office manager, cafeteria worker, custodian, bus driver, school police officer, or teacher’s aid, you are a huge part of every student’s life; you are as integral to the school community as anyone, and as a member of that community, your voice and values matters too.
If you are reading this, then you know that the state of education in this country is in need of true revitalization rather than simply reform. But you’re still here, and you’re still someone who’s passionate about transforming the lives of children, one year at a time, because you know you make a difference in their lives, and that’s rewarding beyond measure.
But it can be hard to inspire students when confined to mandated curriculums and rules dictated by those outside your unique school community. Here at Got Core Values℠, we seek to empower you so that you may in turn inspire and empower your students to become the most confident, productive, and successful versions of themselves.
We’re cultural facilitators. We gather you, your peers, your students, their families, community members, and school leaders together, and you write out your core values.
We then help your community at large clearly determine and define, via consensus, the core, cultural values for your school. Then, we give your community- again, from the students and their families to you, your peers, even the owner of the coffee shop where you grab a coffee before your shift- the tools to live those values every day.
Children are the most important investment we make in the future; the people who work with them on a daily basis are their mentors, and an instrumental part of that investment. We support and encourage you in being and expressing the amazing person that you are so that you may do the amazing work you do.
Supporting children and helping them grow their passions and identify their strengths is unshakably important in their development as members of society, and an exceptional way to keep them engaged in school as well.
By working with Got Core Values℠, you’ll be empowered to help students identify their strengths, and teach them how to apply their strengths beyond schoolyards and classrooms. You’ll also have your voice heard. The values you share will play an instrumental part in the development of your workplace.
